Sawrey overcome challenge to model & analyse complex and irregular structures

The Company

Sawrey Consulting Engineers is a growing structural engineering consultancy. Serving New Zealand from greater Wellington, Sawrey Consulting Engineer's main focus is with earthquake engineering, structural and seismic design, the assessment and seismic retrofit of buildings, and building parts and components.

The company continuously follows the development of engineering design standards, both in New Zealand and internationally.

The Challenge

The engineer's challenge for a complex structure, was to find structural analysis software with modeling flexibility and advanced analysis methods with the necessary technical support.

The Solution

Staad.Pro was selected for modeling this building. Staad.Pro is part of a raft of structural engineering software included in the "Structural Enterprise" package by Bentley Systems.
